Uganda Revenue Authority is working on a number of strategies to ensure tax compliance
The authority is among other things encouraging voluntary tax compliance to avoid clashes.
The commission’s acting Commissioner General Patience Tumusiime says taxation of wealthy individuals (commonly referred to as High Net Worth Individuals has remained a challenge.
She however notes that to address the above, a special unit has been created to follow up and ensure compliance.
