In a rather unprecedented move, President Yoweri Museveni has ordered the sacking of all health workers at Nakawuka health Centre III in Wakiso district.

This follows an investigation conducted by the Health Monitory Unit that unearthed filth at the Centre and complaints from residents over the poor service delivery at the facility.

The residents cited challenges like absenteeism of the health workers and poor handling of patients.

The president has said all the health staff who have been at this Centre should be handled by the relevant authorities.

He was addressing residents at Nakawuka Health Center III after residents complained that about the poor health service delivery at the facility. He has thus ordered the chairman of the Health Service Commission Pius Okong to take get a new team to run the health center and take appropriate action against the culprits.
