The opposition forum for democratic change have explained why the party dropped some party officials most of whole where supporter of the former party president Gen Muntu.

The party on Friday during their national conference replaced  various pro-muntu supporters including the vice president eastern region Alice Alaso, the deputy spokesperson Paul mwiru among others.

Speaking to kfm, the party national chairman Mr Waswa Birigwa  says that those changes have nothing to do with Gen muntu.

He she got a new friend  that most of the positions had run vacant even during the regime of Gen Muntu, while some officials had absconded from work so they had to be replaced.

He however says that this does not mean that those people they replaced most especially those who have not written to the party about their departure like Mr Mwiru have been sacked.
