Government is yet to confirm reports indicating that Jamil Mukulu the commander of the Allied Defence Forces was apprehended in Tanzania.
While appearing before Parliament’s Defence committee, Defence minister Crispus Kiyonga has told MPs that it’s true that Uganda has been contacted by the Tanzanian government over a person they arrested but his identity is yet to be established.
Kiyonga says they are still gathering the necessary information and will soon make a formal statement.
