Police in Pader district are holding a 35 year-old woman for locking up a 16 year-old school boy for two weeks in her house for alleged sexual satisfaction.

The district OC CID, Hamilton Okidi, says the 16 year-old boy denies having had a sexual encounter with the woman during the two weeks he was held hostage.

He adds that the woman narrated that the boy was only helping her with house work.

The boy has told the police that the woman paid him Sh12,500 for the two weeks he worked in her house.

The police have preferred charges of trafficking against the woman.

The LC3 of Kucwiny Sub-county, Richard Binega has warned unmarried women in the villages against taking advantage of young boys to meet their sexual needs.
