Court has set a date for hearing of the case of fraud against Col. Shaban Bantariza.<\/span><\/p>\n

The General Court Martial chaired by Brig. Moses Ddiba Sentongo has set September 26th<\/sup> to start hearing the case.<\/span><\/p>\n

This is after prosecution led by Capt. Fredrick Kangwamu informed court that investigations into the matter were complete.<\/span><\/p>\n

Bantariza, a former army spokesperson and National Leadership Institute boss, is expected to appear before the General Court Martial for mention of the fraud case against him.<\/span><\/p>\n

The former Uganda Media Centre deputy executive director is charged with three counts of fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n

He is said to have received a tractor donated to the institute by the ministry of finance, but instead claimed to have purchased it at Sh 67m.<\/span><\/p>\n
