{"id":75208,"date":"2024-07-01T14:32:55","date_gmt":"2024-07-01T11:32:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.kfm.co.ug\/?p=75208"},"modified":"2024-07-01T19:57:51","modified_gmt":"2024-07-01T16:57:51","slug":"fufa-received-666260-balls-from-fifa","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kfm.dembefm.ug\/staging_h\/fufa-received-666260-balls-from-fifa\/","title":{"rendered":"\u00a0FUFA received 66,260 balls from FIFA\u00a0"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has today received <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">66,260 balls from FIFA as promised last week during the world governing body\u2019s <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Football for Schools Program that was launched at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">in Jinja City.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The consignment was <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">received<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\"> by FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe, <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">who says this.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Balls will be distributed to primary schools across the country.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">The program is part of the FUFA Technical <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Master Plan aimed at giving every young boy and girl an opportunity to play <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">football.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">On top of giving out the balls, FIFA will <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">also give the local Federation USD 50,000 as part of the program.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Speaking after receiving the first three <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">containers, Ali Mwebe revealed that the balls will be kept safely in the <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">federation&#8217;s warehouse before being distributed after approval\u00a0 of the executive <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">committee.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u201cSo far we have three containers and by the end of the day we expect to have five of them, we will keep them and wait for the executive committee to approve the distribution\u201d, Ali Mwebe said.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>\u00a0The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) has today received 66,260 balls from FIFA as promised last week during the world governing body\u2019s Football for Schools Program that was launched at FUFA Technical Centre Njeru, in Jinja City.\u00a0 The consignment was received by FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe, who says this.
