Lawyers representing opposition leader \u00a0Dr Kizza Besigye vowed to drag Asuman Muhumuza to Judicial Service Commission over misconduct and abuse of office.<\/div>\n

This was after the magistrate refused to handle Dr Besigye’s application for bail saying it was late.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
According to the suspect\u2019s lawyers led by Lord Mayor Erias\u00a0 Lukwago, the Court shouldn’t have charged them this late and declined to grant their request for bail.<\/div>\n

The four times Presidential Candidate together\u00a0 activist Samuel Lubega Mukaku were yesterday evening\u00a0\u00a0produced in Court\u00a0 at 6pm<\/a> and charged with incitment to violence.<\/div>\n

They denied the charges and were remanded until Friday for bail application.<\/div>\n
<\/div>\n
This did not go well with his supporters who turned rowdy and\u00a0 protested saying “Asuman Shame on You , Shame on You” on top of their voices .<\/div>\n

The Court\u00a0 heard that on June 14th\u00a0 2022<\/a> at Kikubo\u00a0 Shauriyako \u00a0in Kampala City, Besigye and Mukaku\u00a0 without lawful excuse made statements indicating that it would be desirable to demonstrate, which could cause violence and\u00a0 damage\u00a0 to property.<\/div>\n
