Gen Andrew Gutti issued an order for prison authorities to take Kakooza to a mental examiner after the suspect \u00a0angrily protested his long detention without trial.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">Yesterday, the chairman&#8217;s order was respected and prison authorities reported to court that Kakooza had been taken to a mental examiner.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">This has caused the hearing of \u00a0the case to flop for the second \u00a0time \u00a0because Kakooza and another suspect Livingstone Katushabe are reportedly unwell.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">The 2 defence lawyers have now \u00a0gone a head to apply for bail on behalf of their clients saying they have taken long on remand, yet prosecution is not about to commence with their trial.<\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\"><\/div>\n<div dir=\"auto\" data-removefontsize=\"true\" data-originalcomputedfontsize=\"16\">The bail application hearing \u00a0has been fixed for 29th March.<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ruth Anderah Lawyers representing the jailed 32 NUP youths have asked the General Court Martial to avail them with findings of \u00a0a \u00a0medical examiner in respect of a one Muhydin Kakooza whom court \u00a0ordered that his \u00a0sanity should \u00a0be ascertained .
