The First Lady who also doubles as the Minister of Education and Sports Ms, Janet Museveni has urged parents and teachers to be patient ahead of schools\u2019 re-opening in January next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

She says Government does not benefit from the continued closure of schools and that it only seeks to ensure the safety of learners.<\/span><\/p>\n

President Museveni recently announced that tertiary institutions will open at the beginning of November this year and the rest of the learners in January next year.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ms Museveni says the selection dates for senior one and senior five along with a comprehensive Calendar will also be released asking schools and parents to prepare adequately.<\/span><\/p>\n

She meanwhile emphasized the need to embrace e-learning across the country.<\/span><\/p>\n
