{"id":39646,"date":"2019-01-26T10:00:52","date_gmt":"2019-01-26T07:00:52","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kfm.co.ug\/?p=39646"},"modified":"2019-01-25T12:13:31","modified_gmt":"2019-01-25T09:13:31","slug":"updf-ready-for-the-38th-tareh-sita-anniversary","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kfm.dembefm.ug\/staging_h\/updf-ready-for-the-38th-tareh-sita-anniversary\/","title":{"rendered":"UPDF ready for the 38th Tareh Sita anniversary"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Ivan Ssenabulya.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Uganda People\u2019s Defence Forces has lined up a number of activities, ahead of its 38<sup>th<\/sup>Tareh Sita anniversary.<\/p>\n<p>According to statement from the army spokesperson, Brig Richard Kalemire, the army week will be launched on 29<sup>th<\/sup> January 2019.<\/p>\n<p>He says the UPDF medical and engineering teams are to hold free medical camp, schools and health centres\u2019 construction and repair among others.<\/p>\n<p>The activities will be held in districts, Agago, Amuru, Gulu, Kitgum, Lamwo, Nwoya, Omoro and Pader.<\/p>\n<p>There will also be district Launches on Friday 1<sup>st\u00a0<\/sup>February 2019 at the respective headquarters.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s celebrations will be held on 6th February 2019 at Kitgum Core Primary Teachers College in Kitgum Municipality.<\/p>\n<p>Celebrations are running under the theme, <strong>\u201cUPDF and the People: Consolidating Peace for Sustainable Development and Prosperity\u201d<\/strong>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ivan Ssenabulya.
