{"id":38940,"date":"2018-12-13T14:15:17","date_gmt":"2018-12-13T11:15:17","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kfm.co.ug\/?p=38940"},"modified":"2018-12-13T14:15:17","modified_gmt":"2018-12-13T11:15:17","slug":"mp-betty-nambooze-case-pushed-to-march-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kfm.dembefm.ug\/staging_h\/mp-betty-nambooze-case-pushed-to-march-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"MP Betty Nambooze case pushed to March 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Ruth Anderah.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>The incitement to violance case against Mukono Municipality member of parliament Betty NamboozeBakireke has been adjourned by Nakawa magistrates court until March 7th 2019.<\/p>\n<p>The case has been adjourned by a grade one magistrate Noah Sajjabi and ordered prosecution to produce witnesses on that day.<\/p>\n<p>Nambooze who was in Court, is alleged to have inciting members of the\u00a0 public to commit\u00a0 offenses against Government officials.<\/p>\n<p>According to prosecution,\u00a0 Nambooze on the June 9th 2018 through utterings and writings in the media, she\u00a0 incited the public to attack and murder public figures whenever guarded they could be since government could not secure them.<\/p>\n<p>Namboze was summoned by police\u00a0 to explain her words just after a few days when assailants had attacked and gunned down\u00a0 the former Arua Municipality MP Ibrahim Abiriga near\u00a0 his home at\u00a0 Mattuga.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ruth Anderah.
