{"id":38928,"date":"2018-12-13T12:00:09","date_gmt":"2018-12-13T09:00:09","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kfm.co.ug\/?p=38928"},"modified":"2018-12-12T22:35:45","modified_gmt":"2018-12-12T19:35:45","slug":"48-year-old-convicted-for-defiling-a-step-daughter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kfm.dembefm.ug\/staging_h\/48-year-old-convicted-for-defiling-a-step-daughter\/","title":{"rendered":"48 year old convicted for defiling a step daughter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><em><strong>By Ruth Anderah.<\/strong><\/em><\/p>\n<p>Prosecution has asked High Court in Kampala to hand a deterrent sentence to a 48 year old man for defiling his 13 year old step daughter.<\/p>\n<p>Prosecution\u2019s Lillian Nandaula asked for a deterrent sentence after High Court Judge Jane Frances Abodo convicted him with aggravated defilement as charged.<\/p>\n<p>Nandaula says, the convict Henry Sentongo had a duty to protect this child as a daughter but instead he abused it and defile her.<\/p>\n<p>Court observed that Sentongo defiled the girl on March 4<sup>th<\/sup> 2016 at Kitaka zone in Nateete a Kampala suburbs.<\/p>\n<p>It was discovered that Sentongo was caught red-handed by his wife defiling the child on their bed.<\/p>\n<p>The incident took place very early in the morning while the mother of the victim had gone to work, but unfortunately she forgot something at home and come back.<\/p>\n<p>The judge sent him back on remand until December 14<sup>th<\/sup> to pass a sentence.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>By Ruth Anderah.
