{"id":38100,"date":"2018-10-30T12:58:21","date_gmt":"2018-10-30T09:58:21","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/kfm.co.ug\/?p=38100"},"modified":"2018-10-30T12:58:21","modified_gmt":"2018-10-30T09:58:21","slug":"mityana-shooting-survivors-petition-court","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.kfm.dembefm.ug\/staging_h\/mityana-shooting-survivors-petition-court\/","title":{"rendered":"Mityana shooting survivors petition court"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Seven Survivors of the Mityana police shooting have dragged government to the High Court in Kampala seeking compensation for the injuries sustained during the bizarre incident.<\/p>\n<p>These seven are Doreen Asiimwe, Jalia Nkamya, Derrick Sengooba, Hassan Sebulime, \u00a0Abubakari Segawa, Jerengesa Matovu and \u00a0Ramathan Muwonge were football fans travelling in a \u00a0taxi to watch Buganda&#8217;s Masaza cup between Kyaggwe and the current champions -Singo.<\/p>\n<p>In their suit filed before the High Court Civil Division, the seven also want court to compel \u00a0the Attorney General identify and dismiss from service \u00a0the police officers who shot at them.<\/p>\n<p>The incident happened on August 19th 2018, at Mityana as plaintiffs and other people were travelling \u00a0in a taxi Reg no.
