Human rights defenders and activists have expressed fear that more brutality is to be experienced against the opposition ahead of the 2016 polls.
\nThis follows last week\u2019s arrest of FDC\u2019s Flag bearer Retired Col Dr.Kiiza Besigye and the party spokesperson Ibrahim Ssemujju Nganda.
\nSpeaking to KFM, human rights lawyer Nicholas Opiyo says a lot more of this should be expected.
\nHe says it is all aimed at intimidating the opposition and entrenching the ruling government.
\nAddressing the media last week however, the police Chief General Kale Kayihura blamed Dr. Besigye for his own woes saying he has made himself the target for police action.<\/p>\n
