The East African Legislative Assembly has expressed concern about the ongoing impasse over a sugar deal between Uganda and Kenya.<\/p>\n
This comes as some politicians attempt to block a deal signed between Kenya\u2019s president Uhuru Kenyatta and President Museveni to allow Uganda export Sugar to Kenya.<\/p>\n
Now one of Uganda\u2019s representatives to the assembly Bernard Mulengani says the matter is serious and against the region\u2019s integration agenda.<\/p>\n
He says they may soon have to set up a committee to discuss the matter.<\/p>\n
